  1. Open Microsoft Outlook

  2. Go to Tools>Email Accounts...

  3. Choose Add a new e-mail account and click Next.

  4. Select POP3 from the options that appear and click Next.

  5. On the screen that appears, enter your settings as follows, or click here to view a screenshot example.

Your Name: Type your name as you would like others to see it when you send them an email. This will appear in the From: field when others receive email from you.

E-mail Address: Enter your full email address here, for example, user@yourdomain.com.

User Name: This is also your full email address. Outlook may have already partially filled in this field for you, but please be sure to add @yourdomain.com, or you will not be able to log in.

Password: Enter the password that was assigned to you when your account was set up. If you do not know or have forgotten your password, please click here to contact us.
NOTE: Passwords are case-sensitive, so please be sure that your caps lock key is off.

    Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.exadev.com

    Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.exadev.com
NOTE: eXadev recommends that you use your Internet Service Provider's (ISP's) SMTP server to send your mail, as some ISPs (such as Earthlink) do not allow the use of 3rd party SMTP servers (such as mail.exadev.com) to be used with their service. Please contact your ISP to obtain this information, or click here for a list of common local ISPs and their respective SMTP servers.

  6. If using your ISP's SMTP server, simply click Next, then Finish, and you are now ready to send and receive mail using Microsoft Outlook.

If using mail.exadev.com as your SMTP server, please proceed to steps 7-9.

  7. Click the More Settings... button, and in the box that appears, go to the Outgoing Server tab.

  8. Check the box that says My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, and click OK to save these settings. Click here to see a screenshot.

  9. Click Next, then Finish, and you are now ready to send and receive mail using Microsoft Outlook.
